CURRENT LIVE CE TRAINING TOPICS

Diamond Mind Training offers live, interactive CE trainings focused on Veteran recovery, military transition, post-traumatic growth, resilience, connection, and strengths-based approaches to mental health and substance use recovery.

Each training is designed to help professionals move beyond generic “Veteran awareness” and better understand the human, relational, and identity-based factors that shape Veteran engagement, coping, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.

Understanding Veterans & Military Transition

Unique Factors Contributing to Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders in the Veteran and Military-Connected Population

Theme: How military transition itself can be traumatic

Overview: This training reframes common post-service challenges not simply as pathology, but as predictable responses to disrupted identity, belonging, purpose, and meaning. Participants gain a practical lens for understanding how transition stress can fuel disengagement, risk-taking, substance use, and maladaptive coping—and how restoring connection, authenticity, and meaning can improve engagement and recovery outcomes.
